The overall objective is to develop an integrated WC solution, modular and easily assemble and disassemble and adaptable to any space.
This solution is being tested and will be applied in real environment to obtain a final prototype.
The entities involved pretend to achieve the following specific objectives:
- New constructive strategy better to the rehabilitation of housing that allows:
- Ease and speed of construction;
- High level of industrialization;
- High level of reconfiguration and flexibility of spatial distribution, adapting to the needs of individuals;
- Do It Yourself solutions (DIY), easily assemble and disassemble;
- Solution whose durability and life cycle cost assessment ensure a lower cost;
- More sustainable solution:
- Measuring and monitoring the consumption of all equipment;
- Optimizing the energy and water consumption;
- Garantee a high environmental performance solution based on life cycle analysis.
- Solution that optimizes the well-being and quality of human life in rehabilitated buildings;
- Solution that adapts to the different types of construction of residential buildings and that takes into consideration the structural specificities.
