Activities

The project is developed over 36 months, structured in a set of 6 activities that partially overlap in their temporal execution.

1. Preliminary studies

This activity take into account a compendium of preliminary studies that allow to define, in a reasoned way, functional and sustainability requirements of the components and systems to be developed and studied.

2. Design and development of the solution

This activity involves the accomplishment of a set of tasks related to the process of creation and development of the system.

3. Installation and use of the product

The main goal of this task is to evaluate the performance of the product, when installed in real context. The evaluation of the product performance will focus on the evaluation of the degree of satisfaction of the users by “focus group” and its hydraulic performance, constructive and functional, considering their assembly in different spaces. In parallel, a feasibility study will be carried out on the installation of the product in buildings of different times.

4. Product life cycle analysis

This activity provides for the study of life cycle cost and product life cycle analysis (in development) for financial analysis. In this way, it is intended to evaluate the environmental performance of the product with the objective of defining measures that promote the increase of the financial and environmental performance of the product adapted / improved compared to the product under development.

5. Performance of the product and the manufacturing process

This activity aims to evaluate the product from the ease of assembly / disassembly to its hydraulic performance (after assembly), in order to collect indicators that contribute to its improvement / optimization.

6. Promotion and dissemination of results

This activity provides a set of actions for the effective dissemination of project results.
